3D folding bike - mission accomplished

I finally brought the bike to a new look, and the astonishing pinstriping of explo75 gave her the final touch!! i'm quite happy with it, the bmx tires and the shortened handle bar make it less granny and more "sporty, sexy" looking! here are some pix:

by the way, this is what the rims looked like, before visiting the beautyfarm:

bicycles in animation part II

I found this other award winning anim by chance! it's very nice even if it's quite long an repetitive, but i guess it's part of the short ;) still by chance it happens that I'm in danmark at the moment so... well that fits! click on the image and have fun..

cycling beer

finally my homebrewing beer kit brought my little babies to life!
here's the label. it's a cycling monk....

the idea of homebrewing, makes me really feel good, and i would like to improve more & more :)
2 guys in my hometown started their adventure 12 years ago and believe me, their beer is awesome!!... let's make a toast to homebrewing!!
thanks to davide "ciccio" for lending me his kit!

bicycles in animation part I

In the last period I´m quite into animation...here for you one of the best animated shorts ever, it´s by Michael Dudok de Wit, belgian. Great stuff!

corrado's "grabbing land"

Tornado aka CORRADO is an oversize lovely pitbull dog!

cool Vs uncool

just to make things clear: I wanted to try a fixie, in order to understand why I make fun of fixed people and their lifestyle.
result: although these bikes could be very fun for the "compact" style you adopt, it's more difficult to ride, unnatural, and most of the times you're thinking "oh I'm just so supercool to ride one of these fixies...."
well, I enjoyed my little zombiefixie (a found silvestrini of end 70ies) the last days, but I leave all to you, you wannabe messengers: the fun, the coolness and all the rest, while i enjoy a superboring, uncool, citybike. YO! OY!

graziella 3D

It's another graziella folding bike, found without wheels some years ago, now she (and of course me) is honoured by great pinstriper EXPLO,

who gave her a new look!!
Nice evening, listening to Rush and other progressive stuff.
I'm gonna give the bike as a present to the studio I'm working with right now (that's why "3D").

Definetely check out his blog (it's only 4 years he's on the spot!!!)
I hope we'll to work again together soon! Thank you Sabbatanico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(As soon as I finish the rims the complete bike will be visible!)

small friends #01

it's just a small frontlight as u can see, but man, he has stories to tell!
maybe u remember Disney's Gyro Gearloose; he had a similar friend called "Little Helper" (but i prefer the italian version :"Edi")

eroica 08

"L'EROICA" is a cyclotouristic rally held mainly on gravel roads, organized since 1997. It is a special "race" from every point of view. It proposes surroundings and scenes from the "heroic" times of cycling: dust or mud, no organized service, vintage refreshments, wonderful and demanding roads, great ability to adapt and to suffer...

thanks to gabriele (tave) for the pics, car, and everything and to marco from siena for the beautiful stories

gardener's bike: done!

landgrab is arriving on his guerrilla (gardening) long bike! here some pix! thanks to rocco and matteo again for some precious arc-welding!
